Lih-Wen then broadened her interests of protein-protein interactions into immunology field and received her postdoctoral training under Professor Jack Strominger in Harvard University. During the course of searching a ligand for immune receptor, she identified a novel gene, Mixed Lineage Leukemia 5 and has carried on her investigations on this molecule in the cell cycle regulation and cancer development.
